





Tagei, meaning versatility in Japanese, was the second solution for a convertible, space-efficient coffee table. The coffee table is elegant in its simplicity on its own but has a secret to be discovered. Finger holes on the edge of the table’s underside allows you to pull apart the center to reveal an upholstered bench. The top now becomes two end tables for those occupying the seating. While Futaba provides comfortable back-supported seating, Tagei keeps the functionality of the table surface in place.
